Terms of Use
What the site is. An independent information and referral line for homeowners in the Sioux City area of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. It connects callers with independent heating and cooling contractors. It performs no work, holds no contractor license and sells no equipment.
General information only. The pages describe how heating and cooling systems commonly fail and what a technician usually checks. That is not an inspection or a diagnosis of your system. What a particular system needs is decided by a qualified contractor who sees it.
The contractor's terms govern the work. Scheduling, pricing, payment, permits and any warranty are between you and the contractor you hire. This site is not a party to that agreement.
License and insurance. It is the homeowner's responsibility to verify that a hired contractor furnishes the license and insurance required for the work being performed. Requirements differ between Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota, and between cities.
No warranty of work. This site does not warrant or guarantee any work performed by a contractor reached through it.
Availability. Whether a contractor is available, and when, depends on who is taking calls in your area at the time. Nothing on this site promises a visit at a particular time.
Accuracy. Pages show the date they were last reviewed. Equipment, refrigerants, utility programs and local rules change, and a page can fall behind them.
Limitation. The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, it is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published here or from work performed by an independent contractor.
Names. "Siouxland" is a regional name used by many unrelated businesses. Siouxland HVAC Line is not affiliated with any heating and cooling company of a similar name.
